A 1-part, blue, high-viscosity solvent indicator paste for detecting any movement in the adjustment of parts.

LOCTITE® SF 7414 is a blue, high viscosity, solvent-based paste for service personnel or inspectors to quickly detect any adjustments or tampering with equipment. It is developed for use on compression fittings, studs, nuts, parts and assemblies after they’ve been set to the correct torque, tension or position, thus providing an inexpensive method for warranty protection. It dries quickly and provides excellent adhesion to metals, including aluminum, magnesium, titanium, stainless steel and copper.

Highly recommended when installing racing steering wheel, as it clearly reveals any loosening or rotation over time.

  • Non-corrosive
  • Suitable for a variety of metals
  • Provides visual indication of tampering or adjustment
  • Service/operating temperature: -35°C to 145°C (-31°F to 293°F)
