Night Pager Paddle Shifter - Universal

Night Pager Paddle Shifter is a universal paddle shift kit designed for DCT and automatic vehicles. It allows you to change gears using paddles mounted behind the steering wheel without taking your hands off the wheel.

It is ideal for vehicles where the original steering wheel has built-in shift switches. When changing to an aftermarket steering wheel the original shift function can be lost. The Night Pager Paddle Shifter allows you to retain manual gear shifting with an aftermarket steering wheel.

Adjustment

Paddle position can be adjusted by 10 mm to suit different hand sizes and steering wheel diameters.

Overall paddle width can be adjusted from 285 mm to 315 mm.

Main unit is 20 mm thick and is installed between the steering wheel and boss kit.

Operation

Paddle uses a short 7 mm stroke for quick and direct gear changes.

• Right paddle: Upshift
• Left paddle: Downshift

Paddle tension can also be adjusted to suit your preferred operating feel.

Construction

Paddles and main unit are made from aluminium alloy with an Alumite-treated finish. All the components are used in the construction for a lightweight and motorsport-inspired appearance.

Compatibility

Night Pager Paddle Shifter is compatible with 6x70 mm PCD steering wheels (MOMO etc.) and 6x74 mm PCD steering wheels (Nardi etc.).

OEM steering wheel is not compatible.

Aftermarket steering wheel and compatible boss kit are required for installation. The paddle shifter is mounted between the boss kit and steering wheel and adds approximately 20 mm to the required boss length.

Installation

This is a universal Night Pager paddle shifter, so wiring modification is required depending on the vehicle.

Installation may require:

• Cutting and soldering the wiring
• Harness modification
• Electrical testing
• Connection to the vehicles shift control circuit
• A compatible aftermarket steering wheel
• A compatible boss kit

The kit includes the paddle shifter unit, shift control harness and installation bolts.

Some vehicles may require connection through the steering column contact slip ring or additional electrical circuitry.

Professional installation is recommended as correct wiring and mounting are required for reliable operation.
